Dredd joined our family at 18 months old when his first owners, who were in the military, were deployed to Okinawa and couldn’t take him along. We were fortunate to welcome him into our home. He arrived house-trained, obedience-trained, and wonderfully socialized with both people and other animals.
Dredd came from strong import lines known for heavy bone, rich and defined markings, substantial height—standing an impressive 27 inches—and a drive that could outlast even the most energetic puppies. It didn’t take long to discover his greatest joy in life: the tennis ball. Whether playing endless rounds of fetch or simply relaxing, he always kept his ball by his side.
Dredd sired three litters that produced stunning puppies, many of whom have been very successful in the show ring. He sired his first litter at seven years old, and his offspring proudly carry on his legacy—his striking head, beautiful mahogany markings, and exceptional temperament.
“Mr. Big Head” Dredd was truly a once-in-a-lifetime dog.
