Von der Stahl Rottweilers

About Us:

Located in Southern California, we have been devoted to the Rottweiler breed since 1984.   What started with a small rescue puppy quickly grew into a lifelong passion for raising, training, and loving these incredible dogs.

Over the years, we have welcomed many rescue Rottweilers into our home, but in 2005 we expanded our commitment to the breed by bringing home our first AKC-registered puppy. Today, we proudly share our lives with six AKC registered show dogs.
​
In 2018, we were fortunate to partner with a respected breeder who has over 50 years of experience in Rottweilers. As both mentor and collaborator, she has brought immeasurable knowledge and guidance to our program. Together, we are dedicated to producing Rottweilers who reflect the very best of the breed—sound in body, mind, and temperament.

Health & Standards

Von der Stahl Rottweilers is passionate about breeding ethically and responsibly. We believe every Rottweiler deserves the strongest foundation for a healthy, happy life.

We pride ourselves on our dedication to the health, temperament, and conformation of every Rottweiler we breed, so our dogs undergo comprehensive health testing for the following:

  • Hips             

  • Elbows

  • Heart

  • Eyes

  • Dentition

  • JLPP

  • and Long Coat Gene
